At a loss what to do on a rainy day with your children? Try your hand at making your own wraps; it’s a great educational activity and enough to make two wraps sized 29 cm x 27 cm using four blocks. Or refresh your existing beeswax wraps to extend their life.
Purchase blocks singularly or at the cheaper rate for four.
- Contains a special blend of Byron Bay beeswax, pine resin and organic coconut oil
- Each beeswax block weighs approx. 12g
Care for your wraps by hand washing in cool water with mild dishwashing liquid or soap. Hang them on a drying rack or clothesline and keep away from any heat, such as microwaves, hot food and water that will cause the beeswax to melt.
It’s very easy to grate one or two beeswax blocks over your pre-existing wraps and bake at 200 degrees for 4-8 mins. Remove from the oven and spread the melted wax evenly over the wrap, and then hang in a cool area and allow to harden. Alternatively, you can pre-melt the wax blocks in a small container, spread the wax evenly over your wrap, and follow the same direction to hang.
